weekly vocabulary


  • FILL FLASH: Fill flash is a flash that is used to fill up any shadows that hinder the subject in a picture or photo.

  • DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHER: A photographer that takes pictures of special events and/or of ordinary daily events to document them through photos.

  • MAGNESIUM FLARE: A 19th century use for magnesium. The magnesium is burned to produce a flash for taking photos.
